We're seeking a motivated Teacher to join our team in Preston, supporting students in KS3 and KS4. The daily pay rate for this position ranges from £155 to £230, based on your experience, qualifications, and teaching proficiency.
The selected candidate will play a key role in fostering student's musical abilities and inspiring a love for music. Your primary responsibility is to deliver engaging and effective music instruction to students, helping them develop their skills and appreciation for music. You will have the opportunity to inspire and empower students, helping them to discover and develop their musical talents.

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to subject development by producing, reviewing and updating curriculum plans and schemes of work
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum
- Punctual and reliable
- Teach classes allocated and provide a well planned challenging, purposeful learning environment
- Develop approach to self - directed learning, use technology to support learning
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Respond to questioning
Preferred skills:
- Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
- Strong classroom management
- Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
- Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
- Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience
Personal attributes:
- You will have a genuine passion for teaching
- Experience up to key stage 3/4
- QTS/PGCE equivalent
- Be flexible and committed
