    It’s true…unless you’re one of the “Big Guys”. Actually, I want you to win too- but you have to be better. You have to stop running the racket of charging premium rates for non-premium service. You have to stop shoehorning people into your fancy 5-Step Plan (while also charging hundreds of dollars per person for a mandated workbook). You have to stop going into companies, talking to your talking points, and leaving the organisation worse off both financially and in their morale. You have to stop consulting to organisations and start consulting to the people there. See them, connect with them, HELP them. It’ll not only make a more positive and lasting impact on them, but in yourself too. But until you do, bespoke consulting firms like those run by my friends Traci Austin (Elevated Talent Consulting), Tyler Smith (Culture Craft Consulting), Christina Kamer Ed.D., SHRM SCP GPHR (HR Capital Management), and myself (MullMentum Consulting, LLC) are going to keep doing the meaningful work while repairing your past sins. And let me tell you- nothing is as cool as when former clients become lifelong friends. Because it was never about the bells and whistles of a packaged program- it was about understanding pain points, meeting them there, and helping them grow forward. Look, #Burnout is high, #EmployeeEngagement is low, and people deserve true, holistic, well-being in their lives. It’s gonna take us all to combat it. How about we step up to the plate?
