Navage?
Anyone used a Navage?
If so,
Did it really help clean your sinuses?
Have you continued to using it?I’ve had a years long, on again off again, problem with sinus congestion and allergies and would like to mitigate those problems.
I told them we’ve already got one

I use a Netty pot.
That thing is going to be a nasty mess to clean. That old adage that states "If you want something done right you must do it yourself!", didn't quite hold true regarding my latest surgery.

I use the neilmed one you squeeze and drain it out the other nostril. Always after mowing and yard work. Seems to help but I've had some allergies or something this year that have been as bad as I can remember

I use one…had it about 5 years. It’s great. Not hard to clean. Worth it if you suffer from bad sinuses. Pretty damn durable too.

I’ve used NeilMed for a while, and it works well, I guess. I wonder if the Navage works a lot better? I guess I should have stated that. At around $100 I’d hope it would just about suck my brain out.

Make sure you use distilled water, do not use regular tap water. Apparently it may have bacteria or amoeba that can enter your brain through the sinus tissue.
ive used the neilmed as needed.
You may want to look into nasonex as a preventative.Last edited by Yep; 05-29-2024, 08:09 PM.

I did a nasal flush/wash years ago out in West Texas.
Coughed, gagged and snorted enough that I didn’t do it again.
‘Pretty sure it was Neilmed🤷 It’s been a while.
Probably wouldn’t hurt to do it again.Just kinda hard to get a redneck to willingly shoot water up his nose😆
But mama said.

This is what I use. I put it in the microwave for 15 seconds, and it makes it slightly less unpleasant. Like others, this seems to be one of the worst years for allergies in quite awhile.

I figured you used some kind of saline solution in the Navage. I wouldn't want this dirty ass well water we have cruising through my sinuses.

You may want to look into nasonex as a preventative.I use good ole city tap water and still alive.
seems like that’s the equivalent of saying wear nose clips when swimming at the beach/lake/river.
